Tara Manufacturing shade structures
Tara Manufacturing builds modular cantilever shade structures and shade components, led by the Shade DeLux line. The Shade DeLux is a cantilever shade with an 8′ × 10′ canopy covering 80 square feet from a single offset post, built on a weather-resistant aluminum frame and expandable to a 30′ total run using 10′ extension kits.
What is the Tara Shade DeLux?
The Tara Shade DeLux is a modular cantilever shade with an 8′ × 10′ canopy that covers 80 square feet per unit. Its post sits outside the shaded area, so the space underneath stays clear. The frame is weather-resistant, rust-free aluminum, and the canopy attaches with quick-release bungees so it can be removed ahead of a storm or over winter without dismantling the structure.
How is the Tara Shade DeLux mounted?
The Shade DeLux mounts either direct to concrete or on moveable ballast bases, which Tara offers as an upcharge option. Direct-to-concrete anchors into an existing slab. The ballast base is the no-drill route: two are required per installation, each loaded with four pavers to reach 200 lb, and pavers are not included or shipped.
Can the Tara Shade DeLux be expanded?
Yes. The Shade DeLux is modular and expands to a 30′ total run, with each extension kit adding 10′ to the canopy line. This lets you start with a single 8′ × 10′ unit and add coverage in a later season rather than replacing the structure.
What colors does Tara shade fabric come in?
Tara offers seventeen standard fabric colors: Vanilla, Wheat, Mocha, Paprika, Graphite Gray, Laguna Blue, Sunflower, Pistachio, Olive, Silver, Pearl Onyx, Latte, Hazelnut, Bottle Green, Dove Blue, True Blue and Navy. Additional colors are available on request. The fabric blocks up to 98% of UV rays while remaining breathable.
Does the Shade DeLux frame carry accessories?
Yes — the Shade DeLux frame is designed to support accessory mounting, including solar panels and a projection screen. Confirm weight limits and mounting hardware with the manufacturer before fitting anything to the frame.
