Shade where there is nothing to hang it from. This steel pole gives a shade sail a solid corner to pull against, anywhere in the yard. Sold one pole at a time, and most layouts take three or four, so count your corners before you order.
Pick the angle per pole. Corner poles usually lean, a center pole usually stands up.

How many poles do I need?
One per corner the sail is not already attached to. A triangular sail running into a wall might need two poles. A square sail in open ground needs four. Each pole is ordered on its own, so set the quantity to match your corner count.
Send us a rough sketch of the area with any walls or posts you can tie into and we will give you the number. It is a two minute job for us.
Should my poles stand straight up or lean back?
90 stands straight up. 75 leans back 25°. Lean the corner poles away from the sail and the fabric pulls tight and stays tight, which is what stops it flapping and pooling water. A pole in the middle of a run usually stands upright.
Most layouts mix both, and you pick the angle pole by pole. Tell us your shape and we will say which goes where.
Can I choose how high the sail hangs?
Yes, within the pole. There are six fixing points, so you attach the sail at the height that suits the space, whether that is high and open over a seating area or lower for more cover. The pole height itself is fixed.
Standard or Pro: which one fits my sail?
Both hold a sail up. Standard is steel at a fixed height with six fixing points, so you set the sail height once and it stays there. Pro is aluminum with full slider adjustment, so the sail height moves after the pole is standing.
Sail size and layout decide it. Send us your dimensions and we will confirm which pole matches your sail.
How does the pole fix to the ground?
The pole has a base plate. What goes under that plate depends on your ground, and a tensioned sail pulls sideways with real force, so the footing is worth getting right the first time.
