Aqua Terra Backyard was founded in 2023 by Eric Borden on Long Island with a simple idea: a supply company should do more than put products on a website. It should understand what it sells and be able to help customers figure out what they actually need.
That philosophy has shaped the company ever since.
In 2025, Eric's business partner Nick Mooney joined Aqua Terra Backyard, bringing more than a decade of pool and spa industry experience along with CPO certification. Together, they have continued building ATB around a combination of product knowledge, strong manufacturer and distributor relationships, and the kind of practical guidance that becomes especially important when dealing with specialized equipment.
Today, Aqua Terra Backyard supplies everything from individual replacement components to complete equipment and systems across the pool, spa, fireplace, outdoor heating, grilling, and outdoor-living industries.
Just as importantly, we help customers navigate them.
