Tara Shade DeLux Extension Kit, 10', Aluminum, for Cantilever Shade
Tara Shade DeLux Extension Kit, 10', Aluminum, for Cantilever Shade
Another 10′ bay of shade, bolted onto the Shade DeLux cantilever you already own. One kit takes a 10′ shade to 20′, two take it to 30′, and each kit brings its own post, the hardware to hang it and a canopy in any of the 17 colors.
Each kit adds a bay and the post that carries it. Thirty feet is where Tara stops.

Before and after

Questions people ask us
Is it cheaper to order this with the shade?
Yes, if you have not bought the cantilever yet. Add the extension on the cantilever shade page and both ship on one pallet, so freight is charged once.
The bundled price also comes in lower than ordering this kit on its own later. The parts are identical either way.
Is the canopy fabric included?
Yes. You pick the color when you order and there is no charge for the choice.
Tara builds these to the unit you already own, so tell us what you have and we will confirm the exact parts list with them before you commit. Usually within a day.
Will a longer run need more footings?
It can. A single unit uses two footings. A 20′ or 30′ run may need more, and the count depends on whether you are drilling into concrete or using ballast bases.
Send us your planned length and what the ground is, and we will confirm the number with Tara before you order rather than after.
Can I pick a different color from the canopy I already have?
Yes. Same 17 colors as the base unit, no price difference between them. Most people match. A few deliberately contrast the new bay, and it looks better than you would think.
One thing worth knowing: a canopy that has been in the sun for a few seasons has shifted from its original color, so an exact match on paper may not read as an exact match in the yard.
Goes with this
A note on color. These are shown as accurately as we can render them, but every screen is calibrated differently and woven shade fabric reads another way again under real sunlight. If the exact shade matters, ask us for a physical swatch before you order.
