Swim programs and water aerobics
Kickboards, pull buoys, aqua belts and foam dumbbells, plus the lane lines and backstroke flags that lay the pool out.

CPR and AED training
Pocket masks, bag valve masks, AED cabinets and the Laerdal manikins and consumables a certification class runs on.

Lifeguard rescue tubes, rescue cans and covers
The rescue tube is what a guard reaches for before anything else, and the first thing an auditor picks up. Kemp builds them in 40 and 50 inch with vinyl coated foam that holds its shape through a season of sun, chlorine and being dropped on concrete.

Coast Guard approved ring buoys, throw bags and rescue rope
Most pool codes name a minimum buoy diameter and a rope length, so this is the section an inspector reads line by line. Orange reads against water at a distance, white suits a residential deck, and both carry the approval that lets you specify them without an argument.

Lifeguard hip packs, GUARD apparel and stand equipment
A guard who looks like a guard gets listened to, and a hip pack that already holds the gloves and the mask saves the ten seconds that matter. Shirts, shorts, caps, visors and rashguards in the sizes a whole staff needs, plus the umbrella and the megaphone the stand runs on.

USCG approved life jackets, Type I and Type II
Camps, marinas and swim programs all have to hand a jacket to someone who cannot swim, and the label on it is the part that matters. Adult, youth, child and infant sizes, plus offshore SOLAS jackets for a commercial deck.

Every pool answers to a code, and an inspector reads it line by line
Rescue equipment, flotation and a sealed CPR kit are the three things a pool inspection always checks. Tell us the state and the pool type and we will tell you what is usually required before you order.
CPR pocket masks, bag valve masks and AED cabinets
A guard station is only as ready as the mask in the pack and the cabinet on the wall. Pocket masks with one way valves, HEPA filtered bag valve masks in adult and pediatric, Philips HeartStart units and the wall cabinet that keeps one in plain sight.
See all 16›Laerdal CPR manikins, airways, faces and lungs
Running certification in house beats sending staff out, and it only works if the manikins are clean and the airways are stocked. Little Anne, Little Junior, Little Baby and Resusci Anne QCPR, with the consumables that keep a class moving.

Lesson programs go through this gear every single day
Kickboards, pull buoys and aqua belts get bought by the dozen and replaced on a schedule, not when they break. Send us last season's list and we will price the whole reorder in one go.
Swim kickboards, pull buoys and water aerobics equipment
Lesson programs and aqua classes run through this gear every day, which is why it gets bought by the dozen and replaced on a schedule. Kickboards in three sizes, pull buoys, aqua belts, foam dumbbells and the learn to swim belts that keep a nervous beginner upright.
See all 19›Pool divider rope, lane floats and backstroke flags
Divider rope marks the deep end, keeps a lesson area to itself and is the first thing a swim meet needs. Polypropylene rope that floats and does not rot, EZ-LOCK floats to space it out, and vinyl backstroke flags in eleven colors.
Commercial pool brushes, vacuum heads and leaf rakes
Commercial duty tools last a season where a homeowner brush lasts a month, and the difference shows the first time you scrub a plaster wall. Weighted vacuum heads, aluminum back brushes, telescoping poles, skimmers, ladders and the hoses that tie it together.

Why buy Kemp USA from Aqua Terra Backyard
Kemp builds the rescue and training equipment that pools, camps and lifeguard programs actually use. We stock the part of the range that belongs on a pool deck rather than the whole EMS catalog, so what you see here is what fits your site.
Where this gear spends its summer
Municipal pools, swim clubs, camps and waterfronts. The places a season gets planned around, and the reason a part number has to be right the first time.

What to know before you order
Sizing a ring buoy and its rope
Codes usually name a minimum diameter and a rope length tied to the pool width. Give us both numbers and we will confirm the pair before you order.
Picking a rescue tube length
Forty inch suits most pools and a smaller guard. Fifty inch gives more buoyancy for open water and a wider deck. Both take the same protective covers.
Reordering next season
Every listing carries the Kemp part number. Keep the invoice and the same items come back without a conversation.
More about Kemp USA lifeguard, swim and CPR equipment
Kemp USA builds the rescue and training equipment that pools, waterparks, camps and lifeguard programs run on. The range here is the part of the Kemp catalog that belongs on a pool deck: rescue tubes and rescue cans, US Coast Guard approved ring buoys in 20, 24 and 30 inch, water rescue throw bags, guard hip packs with first aid and PPE supply packs, GUARD apparel, Type I and Type II life jackets, pool divider rope and backstroke flags, swim kickboards and water aerobics gear, commercial pool brushes and weighted vacuum heads, CPR pocket masks and bag valve masks, AED cabinets, and Laerdal CPR manikins with their airways, faces and lungs.
Who buys this range
Municipal and school pools buying to a state code, summer camps outfitting a waterfront, swim schools replacing lesson gear each spring, health clubs running aqua therapy classes, and CPR instructors restocking a training room. Homeowners buy here too, usually a ring buoy, a shepherds hook and a pool brush.
Approvals and part numbers
Where a product is described as US Coast Guard approved, that is the manufacturer's own designation and it is stated only on the items that carry it. Every listing shows the Kemp part number so a reorder matches what you bought last time. If a figure is not published by the manufacturer we leave the field out rather than estimate it, and we will chase the answer for you if you need it.
Buying for a facility
If you are opening a season or outfitting a new site, call 631-678-6506 or send the list. We will build the order, flag anything your state usually requires that is missing from it, and quote the whole thing in one place rather than piece by piece.
