- Silvering is not damageLeft alone, teak moves from honey brown to a soft silver gray in a season or two. That is the surface oxidizing, not the wood failing. A wash and a light sand brings the color back if you want it.
- Skip the sealerTeak carries its own oil. Sealing it traps moisture and gives mildew somewhere to sit. Soap, water and a soft brush is the whole routine.
