Lido Loveseat in Solid Teak
The two seat version of the Lido lounge frame, at just under five feet wide. Same solid teak, same 6 inch seat cushion, same low 16.5 inch seat. It anchors a conversation group without taking the space a full sofa needs.
- Two full seats at 58.5 inches. Wide enough that two people are not negotiating the middle, narrow enough for a standard deck or balcony.
- Solid teak, visibly joined. Through joinery on the arms and legs, left exposed as a design feature.
- One continuous seat cushion. A single 61 inch cushion rather than two pads, so there is no seam down the middle.
- Arrives fully assembled. It ships as one piece and needs nothing done to it.

The Lido Loveseat is part of Oxford Garden's Lido collection, a solid teak group built around grand, simple forms and soft curves. Oxford Garden leaves the joinery visible, which is the detail that separates it from frames that hide their construction behind upholstery.

Cushion and Fabric Options
The cushion itself does not change with your choice of fabric. The foam, the cover construction and the dimensions are identical on every option.

Oxford Garden also accepts COM and SOF orders, which is your own material or a special order fabric outside the standard ranges. Those are quoted individually and carry a longer lead time.

Materials and Construction
Frame. Solid teak, sustainably sourced. Teak is used outdoors because of what is already in it: a high natural oil content that resists water absorption, insects and rot without any coating.
Finish. Supplied unfinished in natural teak. Left alone, the surface oxidizes to a soft silver gray over roughly one season. That change is cosmetic and does not affect the strength of the wood.
Joinery. The Lido frame uses through joinery that stays visible on the outside faces of the arms and legs. It is a structural choice that Oxford Garden chose not to hide.
Cushions. Solution dyed acrylic. The color goes into the fiber before it is spun rather than being printed onto finished cloth, which is why these fabrics hold color in direct sun far longer than a conventional outdoor print.

Shipping and Delivery
This piece ships by LTL freight, not by parcel carrier. The carton is 61" x 30" x 30" inches and 83 lb, well past what UPS and FedEx accept.

Care and Maintenance
Teak. No treatment is required. To keep the honey tone rather than let it silver, apply a teak sealer once a season to a dry frame. Do not use a pressure washer, which tears the soft grain out from between the harder rings. For general cleaning, warm water, mild soap and a soft brush worked along the grain.
Cushions. Brush off loose dirt, sponge with mild soap and lukewarm water, rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not machine dry. Bring cushions in or cover them when the piece is not in use for long stretches.
Off season. The frame can stay outside. Cushions last longer stored dry.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are the cushions included?
Yes. The Lido Loveseat is sold complete and the cushions ship with the frame. Your fabric choice sets what the cushions are covered in.
Will the teak turn gray?
It will, over roughly one season outdoors, unless you seal it. The silver gray patina is the natural oxidation of the surface layer and it does not weaken the wood. If you prefer the original honey color, a teak sealer applied annually holds it.
Do I need to assemble it?
No. It arrives fully assembled. Unbox it and set it down.
Can I leave it outside all year?
The teak frame, yes. Teak is used on boat decks for the same reason. Cushions last considerably longer if you store them dry or cover them when the piece is not in use.
What is the difference between the fabric choices?
The cushion construction and dimensions are identical. Bliss Linen is the fabric Oxford Garden stocks for Lido. Other Sunbrella fabrics open up wider ranges and are made to order.
How is this delivered?
By LTL freight to the curb with lift gate service, on a standard palletized shipment. You will be contacted to arrange the delivery. The driver is not able to carry it into a yard or onto a deck.
Will this fit through a standard gate?
The carton is 61 inches long and 30 inches wide. The loveseat itself is 58.5 inches wide and 28 inches deep, so it clears a 36 inch gate turned on its side but not a narrow garden path with a tight corner. Measure before delivery day.
