Power Vac Male Plug
The male plug that terminates the floating power cord on a Power Vac handheld. It mates with the 010-B-D female plug on the battery case lead.
- Order it on its own when the cord end is the problem. A cracked, corroded or loose plug does not mean the whole cord has to go, if the jacket and conductors are sound.
- It is also the adapter for an older machine. Replacing the battery case on a PV2100, PV2200, PV2500 or PV3000 needs this plug with it, because the connector on those machines differs from the current line.
- Both ends usually go together. If the female end is worn too, the 014-D kit covers the pair in one part number.
Replacing the battery case too?
Order the 012-D case with this plug already in the box and the whole thing is handled in one line. On a PV3600 or PV3600SW you do not need it at all. The choice is right there on the case listing.

Common questions
I am replacing my battery case. Do I need this?
On an older PV2100, PV2200, PV2500 or PV3000, yes. On a PV3600 or PV3600SW the case connects directly and you do not. The battery case listing carries both options, so picking the right one there is simplest.
Do I need the female plug as well?
Only if that end is worn too. If both are, the 014-D kit covers the pair.
Can I replace just the plug instead of the whole cord?
If the cord jacket and conductors are sound, yes. If the cord has been wrapped tight and you suspect broken conductors inside the jacket, replace the cord.
How do I stop it corroding again?
Rinse after salt or heavy chemical exposure, dry before storage, and keep the cord seal grommet in place so water stays out of the compression fitting.
