What is the set made of?
The frames are powder coated aluminum. Powder coat is applied dry and electrostatically, then cured under heat into a continuous shell, which gives a harder and more chip resistant surface than wet paint. Aluminum does not rust, which is why it is the default frame material for poolside and coastal use.
The seats are woven from composite cord, a PVC coated polyester wrapped around the frame. It drains, it does not absorb water and it gives the seat a soft feel without a cushion, so there is nothing to bring in when the weather turns.
