These are Golden Blount replacement LP gas valves for its spark to pilot (STP) gas fireplaces. TV-128 is the LP valve for the STP versions of the Superfire SF3624 and SF4224 and the LFP linear fireplaces, and STP-SPV10LP-HO is the LP valve for the STP versions of the HD4240 and HD5030. Choose the one that matches your fireplace.

A licensed gas professional should fit the valve.Golden Blount says installation and service must be done by a qualified installer, service agency or the gas supplier. The gas connection should be made to the fireplace instructions and local codes, then leak tested.

Questions people ask us

Which valve do I need?

For an STP Superfire SF3624 or SF4224 or an LFP linear fireplace on propane, the part is TV-128. For an STP HD4240 or HD5030 on propane, it is STP-SPV10LP-HO.

My fireplace runs on natural gas. Is this the right part?

No. These are the LP valves. Golden Blount lists TV-127 and STP-SPV10NG-HO as the natural gas valves. Ask us for those.

How do I know if my fireplace is a spark to pilot model?

Golden Blount builds these fireplaces with a standing pilot or an optional spark to pilot ignition. Check the rating label or the manual, or send us a photo of the controls and we will tell you.
