The Enervex GSV 012 is a 120 volt pizza oven exhaust fan rated at 875 CFM, built for gas and wood fired ovens. It mounts at the top of the chimney or grease duct, vertically or on a side wall, and its axial vane design is self cleaning. The cast aluminum housing opens on a hinge for cleaning and service. Questions people ask us
Does it work with a wood fired oven?
Yes. Enervex lists the GSV for natural gas, LP gas and solid fuel, and it is built to handle the creosote that wood produces.
How do I mount it?
It mounts on a steel chimney adapter (SCA) or on a roof curb, sealed watertight without blocking the four drain holes in the base.
Is a speed control included?
The standard equipment is the junction box and bird screen. Enervex offers a 5 or 8 amp fan speed control as an option, and the ADC100 control also works with GSV fans.
How often does it need cleaning?
Enervex suggests checking every 2 weeks for the first couple of months to see how fast creosote builds, and cleaning wood fired commercial units at least once a month unless use shows less is enough. Clean all parts when deposits pass 1/16 in.
Is the GSV 012 the right size for my oven?
