The Valcourt AC01375 traditional gravity kit lets heat rise from the fireplace through 8 inch ducts to two hot air outlets, with no blower. Valcourt lists it for the Lafayette II, Lafayette IIS, Dallaire II and Manoir wood fireplaces. The outlets can be in the same room, an adjacent room or upstairs.

Which fireplaces does AC01375 fit?

Valcourt lists it for the Lafayette II FP10R, Lafayette IIS FP10RS, Dallaire II FP18R and Manoir FP1LM. The Mundo II uses its own versions, AC01375K and AC01389K.

What ducting do I need?

8" rigid ducting in 26 ga galvanized steel, not included. Keep each duct to 10 ft including elbows, with no more than two elbows.

Can I use it with a forced air kit?

Yes, but the manual notes a forced air kit draws some air from the gravity ducting, which reduces the gravity kit's output.

Where can the outlets go?

In the same room, an adjacent room or upstairs, at least 68" above the fireplace base and 12" from a combustible ceiling, wall or mantel.
