Valcourt Forced Air Kit for Lafayette II, IIS and Manoir | AC01374
The Valcourt AC01374 forced air kit uses a 300 CFM blower to send heat from a Lafayette II, Lafayette IIS or Manoir wood fireplace to another room. It connects to the side of the fireplace through a 6 inch adapter and insulated duct. A thermistor and control board run the blower at a slow and a fast speed as the fireplace heats up.

Which fireplaces does AC01374 fit?
Valcourt lists it for the Lafayette II FP10R, the Lafayette IIS FP10RS and the Manoir FP1LM.
What else do I need?
A 6" insulated flex pipe such as the 6" x 25' AC01350, an air register and a wall thermostat. The manual lists these as not included.
Can I use it with a gravity kit?
Yes, but the Lafayette II manual notes the forced air kit will draw some air from the gravity ducting, which reduces the gravity kit's output.
Can it connect to my furnace ducts?
Never to a cold air return. A furnace hot air connection needs a backflow shutter, and in Canada it is only allowed where local codes permit it.
