Superior DRL2000 Linear Direct Vent Gas Fireplace, Natural Gas
The Superior DRL2000 is a clean-face linear direct vent gas fireplace, offered here for natural gas with electronic ignition in 35, 45 and 55 inch widths. It is the base version of Superior's 35 to 55 inch linear fireplace, with a low, wide opening where flames rise through crushed glass media, and it is framed for a simple drywall or tile finish. Models DRL2035TEN, DRL2045TEN and DRL2055TEN. A blower, remotes, logs and a porcelain liner are optional.

Questions people ask us
What is the difference between the DRL2000 and the DRL3500?
They share the same firebox sizes and framing. The DRL2000 is the base unit with an optional blower and remotes. The DRL3500 adds a factory-installed blower, floor lighting and a multi-function remote.
Is it available for propane?
These three SKUs are the natural gas models. Superior also builds the DRL2000 for propane (the TEP models). Ask us if you need LP.
How is it vented?
It uses IHP 4.5 by 7.5 inch Secure Vent rigid or Secure Flex direct vent pipe. The 55 inch model requires at least 1 foot of vertical rise directly off the unit, and Superior strongly recommends it on the 35 and 45 inch models.
Can I hang a TV above it?
On the 45 and 55 inch models, Superior's optional HeatFlo kit directs heat above heat-sensitive wall hangings. Follow the mantel and wall clearances in the installation manual.
