If your heater is leaking from the return side, showing corrosion around the outlet header, or losing integrity where heated water exits the exchanger, the return header is one of the first water-side components to inspect. Header damage can create pressure loss, external leaks, and unstable flow that makes a Raypak heater not working problem look worse than it started.
This return header collects heated water as it leaves the exchanger and directs it back into the plumbing path on compatible heaters. This version includes the 6-H related component as part of the assembly. When the header cracks, corrodes, or no longer seals correctly, replacing it restores the return-side water routing section and helps get the heater back to normal operation.
