Ellipse Flame propane patio heater, black with ruby glass
41,000 BTU of real, visible fire, standing 78 inches tall and warming 50 to 65 square feet around it. It is the heater guests pull their chairs toward.
- A real fire, not a picture of one. A 3.5 foot fire feature makes the flame the centerpiece, lighting the space as well as warming it.
- Built to stay outside. An IPX5 water resistance rating and an anti-tilt switch that shuts the heater off if it is knocked over.
- Runs on propane. RADtec rates consumption at 0.99 to 1.91 lb per hour, so a tank goes a long way. No gas line and no electrician needed.

Shipping and returns
In stock orders are processed and shipped within 1 to 2 business days. Heaters travel by parcel or by freight carrier depending on size, and freight deliveries are made curbside.
Inspect the shipment before you sign for it. Signing without noting visible damage counts as accepting it in good condition. Report concealed damage within 48 hours and keep the packaging.
Return requests must be submitted within 21 calendar days from delivery, and every return needs prior written authorization from Aqua Terra Backyard.
Common questions
How much space does one heat?
RADtec puts the average heat coverage at 50 to 65 square feet. For a larger patio, two or more spaced evenly works better than one in the middle. Tell us the footprint and we will count them.
What happens if it gets knocked over?
An anti-tilt switch shuts it off.
Propane or natural gas?
Propane is portable and needs nothing installed. Natural gas never runs out but needs a line run to it. The Ellipse Flame is a propane heater.
