Power Vac Stainless Steel Cord Restraint, C-Clamp
The stainless clamp that holds the power cord where it enters the head, so the strain goes into the clamp instead of into the conductors.
- It takes the strain off the wire. Every tug on the cord lands somewhere. With the restraint in place it lands on the clamp. Without it, it lands on the conductors where they enter the housing.
- Stainless, because of where it lives. Pool water and chemical carryover eat plated hardware. This one does not.
- Replace it if it has spread. A clamp that has been over tightened and opened up no longer grips, and a cord that can move at the entry point will fail there.
Two parts, two jobs
The clamp takes the pull. The orange grommet seals the water out. Machines use both, so replace them together and the cord entry is done for years.

Common questions
Do I need this if my cord is fine?
If the restraint is in place and gripping, no. If it is missing, spread open or corroded, replace it before the cord fails at the entry point.
Is this the same as the cord seal grommet?
No. The clamp is the mechanical restraint. The grommet is the seal inside the compression fitting. Machines use both.
Will it fit my PV3600?
Not confirmed for the current machines. Send us your model and we will check.
How tight should it go?
Snug enough that the cord cannot move, not so tight that the clamp spreads. A spread clamp stops gripping.
