Power Vac Nut and Pin for Propeller
The retaining pin and nut that hold a Power Vac propeller on the motor shaft. Small, cheap, and the reason a propeller comes loose if either one is missing or has been over tightened.
- Order it on its own, or with a propeller. A new propeller already ships with a pin and nut. This part is for when you only lost the hardware.
- Do not reuse a stretched nut. Hardware that has been over tightened does not hold the way it did, and it is a few dollars against a propeller coming off mid job.
- Keep a spare in the truck. This is the part that disappears into the deck drain while you are changing a propeller on site.

Common questions
Do I need this if I am buying a new propeller?
No. Power Vac's propellers ship with a pin and nut included. This part is for replacing the hardware on its own.
The nut spins but will not tighten. Is that this part?
Usually yes. A stretched or galled nut will not hold torque. Replace the pair rather than reusing either piece.
Will it fit my PV3000 or PV3600?
Not confirmed for either. Send us your model and we will check before you order.
How often does it need replacing?
Rarely, unless it is lost or has been over tightened. Most people buy it because it went down a drain.
