Cord and electrical
Power Vac 40 Foot Floating Power Cord Assembly
The 40 foot floating power cord that runs from the battery case to the machine. It floats rather than sinking and dragging, and it is the part on a Power Vac most likely to need replacing.
- The cord is the part that fails. A cord wrapped tight around the machine breaks conductors inside the jacket, and that failure is specifically excluded from the warranty. Coil it in wide loops.
- It floats. A sinking cord drags on the floor, catches under the machine and scuffs surfaces. This one stays up.
- The male plug is on it. The female end is a separate part, and the matched pair is sold together as the 014-D kit.
Send us a photo and we will match it
Two connector styles exist across the range and they do not interchange. Snap a picture of the plug on your battery case lead, send it over, and we will tell you exactly which cord you need before you spend a dollar.

Common questions
Does it come with both plugs?
No. The male plug is included. The female plug is 010-B-D, and both ends together are the 014-D kit.
Will it fit my older machine?
It carries the current style male plug. If your battery case lead is an older style, send us a photo of the connector and we will tell you what you need.
Why does the cord float?
So it stays off the pool floor. A sinking cord drags, catches under the machine and scuffs surfaces.
My cord works but the plug is corroded. Do I need the whole cord?
Not necessarily. If the jacket and conductors are sound, replacing the plug may be enough. Send us a photo and we will tell you which part to order.
