The Osburn OA10243 minimalist base lets the Inspire 2000 wood stove sit directly on a raised, non-combustible hearth. It replaces a full pedestal with a low mounting plate and a fresh air intake housing. It is designed only for the Inspire 2000 and pairs with Osburn's modern stove bench.

Questions people ask us
What kind of hearth does it need?
A raised hearth that is entirely non-combustible. Combustible framing covered with a non-combustible finish is not allowed. Osburn sets a minimum height of 10" at the front, with the hearth at least as wide as the stove and at least as deep as its back.
Can I put the stove in my fireplace with it?
No. Osburn states the base does not turn the stove into an insert, and installing it in a masonry hearth is forbidden.
What pairs with it?
Osburn designed its modern stove bench (AC02354) to go with the minimalist base. Ask us about it.
