Questions people ask us
What is the difference between the two?
The U-shape AC01020 is open along the bottom and measures 30" x 25 1/8". The 4-sided AC01022 closes the bottom too, using a decorative bracket, and measures 30" x 26 7/8".
How does it install?
Line up the faceplate clips with the notches on the insert and push until it snaps in place. For the AC01022, first wedge the decorative bracket between the bottom of the insert and the insert jacket. Run the blower cord out the side through the gap between the faceplate and the insert.
My opening is bigger. What then?
Osburn also makes the AC01021 32" x 50" cuttable faceplate for the Inspire 2000-I, which you trim to the fireplace opening.
