Videl Multi Function Drawer

A sixteen and a half inch drawer unit built to take whatever that part of the island needs to hold, from tools to paper to the things there is never a home for. It is the flexible slot in the run.

It fits where a full drawer bank will not. A 14.5 inch opening slots into the gap between appliances that would otherwise be filled with a blank panel.

It is the drawer for the awkward things. Foil, towels, lighters, skewers and the rest of the kit that has no natural home end up here, off the counter and out of the weather.

Same face height as the rest of the range. Every door and drawer in this range is cut to the same face height, so a run of them across the front of an island lines up instead of stepping. That is the difference between an island that looks built and one that looks assembled.

Check the depth as well as the width

The opening is 14.5 wide by 19 high by 16 deep. Drawer units need real depth behind the face, so measure the bay front to back before you order, not just across.

Cut the island opening at 14.5 wide by 19 high by 16 deep. The frame sits proud of the face and covers the cut edge, so the opening does not have to be beautiful, only accurate.

Shipping and returns

This one goes by parcel carrier rather than freight, so it moves quickly and nobody has to be home to meet a truck.

Open the box and check the contents before you install anything. If something arrived damaged, tell us within 48 hours of delivery and keep the packaging so we can make the claim for you.

Return requests are accepted within 21 days of delivery and need written authorization from us first. Unused items still in their original packaging go back most easily.

Common questions
How do I keep the stainless looking new?Rinse it if you are near salt air or a chlorinated pool, then dry it. Most of the staining people blame on cheap stainless is actually salt left to sit on good stainless.
What does multi function mean here?It is a general purpose drawer rather than one divided for a specific job, which is what makes it useful in the gaps. Ask us for the interior dimensions if you are planning around a specific item.
Is it part of any island package?Not in the current Signature Collection packages. It is added on its own, which is usually how it gets used.
