Modern Flames TruWood Premium Timber Kits, Large, are real wood log sets that replace the standard logs in Modern Flames Orion Traditional, Orion Multi, RedStone and Landscape Pro Multi V2 electric fireplaces. The logs are handpicked, individually charred and heat-treated, and each kit includes a bag of wood chips to fill the gaps. Kits run from 26 to 120 inches, part numbers TWL-26/30-SP through TWL-96/120-SP.

Install the ember bed media first.Remove the front glass as your fireplace manual describes, make sure the crystals or glass that came with the fireplace are in place, take out the old logs, then stack the TruWood logs as the kit guide shows.

Questions people ask us

What comes in a kit?

It depends on the size. The 26 to 30 in. kit has an 8 in. base log, two 10 in. side logs and a 6 in. center accent log. The 36 in. kit has a 10 in. base log, two 12 in. side logs, an 8 in. center accent and two 6 in. accents. The 68 to 80 in. kit has 14 logs and the 96 to 120 in. kit has 19. Every kit adds a bag of wood chips.

Which kit fits my fireplace?

Match your model number to the fit list above. For example, an Orion Multi 76 (OR76-MULTI) takes TWL-68/80-SP and a RedStone 36 (RS-3626) takes TWL-36-SP. For Landscape Pro Slim and Orion Slim models, see the TruWood Slim kits.

How should I use the wood chips?

Place a few chips and chunks in the gaps between the logs. Modern Flames recommends using them sparingly so the ember bed light still shows through, and turning the bark toward the flames.

Are these real logs?

Yes. TruWood logs are real wood, handpicked, individually charred and heat-treated, so no two sets look exactly alike.
