The Modern Flames Orion V2 Slim is a single-sided linear electric fireplace with an LCD flame display, 6 5/16 inches deep and made in 52, 60, 76 and 100 inch widths. It runs on 120V with a 5,000 BTU heater, ships with a plug and is hardwire ready. A lit log set, remote and built-in speakers come with it, and it works with the Modern Flames+ app. Models OR52-SLIM-V2 to OR100-SLIM-V2.

Questions people ask us

How deep a wall does it need?

The unit is 6 5/16" deep. A built-in clean face install needs a 6 1/2" minimum framed depth, which Modern Flames designed around a 2x6 wall. A self-trimming install needs 6" minimum.

Does it plug in?

Yes. It ships with a 120V plug and is also hardwire ready. Use a dedicated 15 amp circuit either way. The Slim runs on 120V only.

Can I hang it on the wall instead of building it in?

Yes. A wall mount bracket comes in the box, and the manual covers wall mounting across studs. It can also go in as a built-in clean face or a self-trimming slide-in. For a finished cabinet look, see Modern Flames wall suites.

What comes in the box?

A lit log set, crushed glass, wood chips and twigs for the ember bed, a built-in trim kit, the wall mount bracket, mounting hardware and a remote with batteries.
