Questions people ask us

How is this different from the Orion V2 Multi?

This is the original Orion Multi with Heliovision flame technology and a Western Driftwood log set. The Orion V2 Multi uses an LCD flame display and is listed separately in 52 to 100 inch sizes.

What rough opening does it need?

Frame 123 1/2" to 124" wide depending on the installation style, 24 3/4" high and at least 9" deep for a full recess. A partial recess needs a 123 13/16" x 24 9/16" finished opening at least 2 5/8" deep.

How much heat does it give?

5,000 BTU (1,465 W) on 120V, or 10,000 BTU (2,930 W) when wired for 240V. It is meant as supplemental heat.

Can it hang on the wall?

Yes. A wall mount bracket is included, and Modern Flames makes a wall mount cabinet suite for it, sold separately. See Modern Flames wall suites.
