The Majestic Pioneer II (PIONEER-II-REC) is an EPA 2020 certified wood-burning fireplace with a rectangular front. It is certified at 1.7 g/hr with 73% LHV efficiency, holds logs up to 22 inches in a 2.75 cubic foot firebox and ships with its door, firebrick and fans. It suits a home that wants real wood heat from a built-in fireplace.

Burn dry wood only.Majestic specifies seasoned cord wood under 20% moisture, and unvented gas logs must not be installed. A hearth extension is required. Majestic wood-burning fireplaces should be installed by a qualified, certified installer to the instructions and local codes.

How much heat does it make?

The manual lists an EPA output of 20,900 BTU/h and a peak of 81,000 BTU/h, at 73% LHV efficiency.

What comes with it?

The door, firebrick, fans, non-combustible facing, outside air hood and the CAK4A chimney air kit. The chimney, duct and hearth extension are separate. See chimney and venting.

Can it heat other rooms?

Yes, with the optional Heat-Zone-WD-C kit, installed by a qualified service technician. One or two kits can be used.

Can it go in a mobile home?

The manual approves it for mobile homes when it is not in a sleeping room, has an outside combustion air inlet and is grounded to the frame.
