Brushes, skimmers, vacuum heads and poles are the most used and fastest worn equipment at any pool. Kemp builds a commercial grade range that survives a daily cycle rather than a weekend one.
- Commercial grade is a real differenceA residential brush on a commercial pool lasts weeks. The difference is in the back, the bristle anchoring and the handle socket.
- Match the brush to the surfaceNylon for vinyl and fibreglass, stainless for plaster and concrete. Using stainless on vinyl will cost you a liner.
- The pole is not an afterthoughtMost failures are the pole or the socket, not the head. A flimsy pole makes every tool on the end of it worse.
Stainless on a vinyl liner will damage it
This is the single most common and most expensive mistake in pool maintenance buying. If you have a vinyl or fibreglass pool, specify nylon.

Common questions
Nylon for vinyl and fibreglass surfaces. Stainless only for plaster, concrete and tile. Stainless on vinyl will tear the liner.
Most commercial pools use a sixteen foot telescopic as the general purpose pole. Deeper or wider pools need longer.
On a commercial pool, expect to replace a brush each season. A worn brush just moves water around.
Kemp heads use the standard commercial pole fitting. If you are running something unusual, send a photo of the socket.
Most of the Kemp range ships from stock, and delivery choices are shown at checkout. If you need a date confirmed before you order, call 631-678-6506 and we will confirm it with the warehouse first.
