Grand Canyon Millivolt Quick Mount Kit
The Grand Canyon Millivolt Quick Mount Kit is a standing pilot on/off valve system for Grand Canyon vented gas log burners, made for natural gas (MVQMKN) or propane (MVQMKLP). A thermopile on the pilot powers the valve, and an optional remote or wall switch wires straight to it. It ships pre-assembled with its fittings and heat shield.

Is a remote included?
No. The remote and wall switch are optional. Grand Canyon lists its GCRK on/off remote as compatible. The remote or switch wires to the TH and TH/TP terminals on the valve.
What comes in the kit?
The 710-502 millivolt valve, an 18" millivolt pilot assembly, a 1/2" x 1/2" swivel nut union, a straight connector, a 90° elbow and the heat shield, shipped pre-assembled. The propane kit also includes the 1751-016 LP conversion kit.
Which burners does it work with?
Grand Canyon lists the 2 Burner from 18" to 30" on natural gas and 18" to 42" on propane, the 3 Burner from 18" to 24" NG and 18" to 36" LP, and the Jumbo from 24" to 30" on propane. For bigger burners see the high capacity millivolt kit.
Can I switch fuels later?
The manual notes that the main burner and pilot orifices must be changed when the regulator is converted from one gas to another. Order the kit for the gas you have, and ask us about conversion parts.
