The Grand Canyon High Capacity Millivolt Quick Mount Kit is a high volume standing pilot on/off valve system, rated up to 370,000 BTU on natural gas (HCMVQMKN) and 560,000 BTU on propane (HCMVQMKLP). It is built around the 700-506 millivolt valve for large Grand Canyon burners such as the Jumbo, and it can be switched by an optional remote or wall switch.

Damper fixed fully open.Grand Canyon includes a damper stop clamp and calls for a fireplace screen in place and glass doors fully open when burning. Installation is by a qualified gas professional or service technician. A licensed gas professional should make the gas connection to the instructions and local codes.

Questions people ask us

Is a remote included?

No, the remote is not part of this kit. The remote and wall switch are optional, and Grand Canyon lists the GCRK on/off remote as compatible.

Which burners does it work with?

Grand Canyon lists the 2 Burner, 3 Burner, Kiva, Glass and Jumbo, Jumbo Slim and Jumbo See-Through burners. Jumbo sizes run 24" to 108" on natural gas and 24" to 120" on propane.

How is it different from the standard millivolt kit?

The standard millivolt quick mount kit uses the 710-502 valve and is rated at 70,000 BTU NG. This kit uses the larger 700-506 valve for 370,000 BTU NG.

What comes in the propane kit?

Everything in the natural gas kit plus the 1751-016 700 series LP conversion kit. The main burner and pilot orifices must suit the gas you burn.
