Videl Gran Fuego 42 Built In Grill
Five cast stainless burners, an infrared burner behind them and 770 square inches of primary cooking surface, which is enough grate to sear for a dozen people without cooking in shifts. This is the grill an island gets built around.
The infrared burner is the reason for the steak crust. Ordinary burners heat the air around the meat. The infrared burner radiates straight at the surface and puts a hard sear on it in a couple of minutes, which is what a steakhouse does and a backyard grill usually cannot.
Heat stays where you put it. A double walled hood and the HeatWave chamber hold temperature instead of bleeding it into the evening air, so the far corner of the grate cooks at the same rate as the middle and the lid can come down on a roast without the temperature falling away.
It is built to live outdoors uncovered. The body, the grates and the Flavor Bars are 304 stainless, the knobs stay cool to the touch and the full width grease tray pulls straight out, so maintenance is a wipe down rather than a project.
Order the fuel you actually have
The burner orifices are set at the factory for natural gas or for propane and the two are not interchangeable without a conversion. Confirm which one runs to the island before you order. If you are not sure, send us a photo of the meter or the tank and we will tell you which to take.

Fitment and what is included
Cut the island opening at 38.5 wide by 10 high by 22 deep. Leave the specified clearance to any combustible material and give the burner compartment the ventilation the manual calls for.

Shipping and returns
A piece this size travels by freight carrier with liftgate service and is delivered curbside. The driver brings it to the end of the driveway rather than around to the patio, so line up a second pair of hands for the last few feet before the truck arrives.
Inspect the shipment thoroughly before you sign the delivery receipt. Signing without noting visible damage counts as accepting it in good condition. If you find concealed damage after the truck has gone, tell us within 48 hours of delivery and keep every piece of the packaging.
Return requests are accepted within 21 days of delivery and need written authorization from us first. Anything already set into an island or connected to gas cannot be returned.
