The Enervex RSHT is a high temperature chimney top exhaust fan with a stainless steel housing, made for solid fuel appliances. It mounts on top of the chimney and pulls smoke up and out of the flue, so a wood fireplace, stove, BBQ or pizza oven drafts properly. It comes in four sizes, RSHT009, RSHT012, RSHT014 and RSHT016, all on 120 volts with a variable speed motor.

Questions people ask us
Which RSHT size do I need?
Capacity runs from 280 CFM on the RSHT009 to 1,480 CFM on the RSHT016. Sizing depends on the appliance, the flue size and the chimney height, so send us those details and we will check the size with Enervex before you order.
Can I use it with gas?
The RSHT is made for solid fuel. Enervex allows gas or oil use only with a safety system as set out in its separate gas and oil instructions. For gas fireplaces, the RS chimney fan is the usual choice.
How does it mount on my chimney?
On a brick chimney the fan sits on the supplied fiber mat. On a round steel chimney it mounts on a SCA steel chimney adapter, and an air cooled steel chimney needs a special adapter. Steel chimneys more than 20 ft above the roof should be braced with wires at 2 to 3 points.
Can I run two fans on one chimney?
Yes, with a special adapter plate of 14 gauge or thicker. The fans must be the same model and size and run together from one speed control.
How often should it be cleaned?
Inspect the fan at least once a year with the chimney. Enervex suggests chimney cleaning about twice a year for regular fireplace use, more often for daily use, and every 2 to 3 months for commercial pizza ovens.
