Duravent DuraTech LDC chimney pipe is a large-diameter, double-wall, all-fuel chimney section, offered here as 14" x 24" and 16" x 18" with a galvalume outer wall. A 1" ceramic insulation blanket sits between a .027" 430 stainless inner wall and a .029" galvalume outer wall. Part numbers 14DT-24 and 16DT-18.

How much height does each section add?
Duravent says to subtract 1" for each joint overlap, so the 24" section adds about 23" and the 18" section about 17".
Is galvalume allowed in Canada?
Duravent offers the galvalume outer wall for the US only. Canadian installs use the stainless outer wall version.

Duravent lists DuraTech LDC for atmospheric-draft appliances such as certified factory-built or large masonry fireplaces, furnaces, boilers and other solid-fuel, oil or gas appliances. The appliance manual decides which chimney is approved, so send us the model and we will check.
