Duravent DirectVent Pro Direct Vent Pipe
Duravent DirectVent Pro Direct Vent Pipe

Duravent DirectVent Pro pipe is a co-axial direct vent pipe in 4" x 6-5/8" and 5" x 8" sizes, sold here in straight lengths from 6" to 60". The inner pipe carries the exhaust out and the outer pipe brings combustion air in, so one run serves a direct vent gas or propane stove, heater or fireplace. Sections twist-lock together, and the black versions are made for runs that stay in view. Duravent part numbers 46DVA and 58DVA.

Questions people ask us
Which diameter do I need?
Use the size your appliance outlet and manual call for: 4" x 6-5/8" (46DVA) or 5" x 8" (58DVA). Duravent also makes a 58DVA-X46 reducer and a 46DVA-X58 increaser, but only use them where the appliance maker approves the change.
Galvanized or black?
Both are the same pipe inside. Duravent recommends the black painted sections for visible interior runs, where they look finished next to the appliance.
Do the joints need sealant or screws?
No sealant, unless your appliance maker requires it. Sections twist-lock with an eighth turn. Screws are allowed only if they do not go through the inner wall.
Which appliances is it approved for?
Duravent publishes approvals and adapters for many direct vent appliances; the appliance manufacturer's installation manual decides which venting is approved. Send us your appliance model and we will confirm the parts. Duravent also makes appliance-specific adapters and co-axial to co-linear connectors (for example 46DVA-ADP, 46DVA-TCL, 46DVA-VCL and 46DVA-GCL); confirm your model with us before ordering one.
Not sure this is the right pipe?
Send us the appliance make and model and a short description of the vent run, and we will confirm the part numbers before you order. Ask us here.
