Questions people ask us
When is a reducer used?
Where the appliance manual approves moving from a 5" x 8" outlet or section to 4" x 6-5/8" venting. Without that approval, keep the outlet size.
Do you have the increaser?
Duravent makes 46DVA-X58 to go from 4" x 6-5/8" up to 5" x 8". Ask us.
Can I go to 3" x 5" CVS?
Duravent makes DVA to CVS adapters (58DVA-X35CVS and 46DVA-X35CVS), but the fireplace maker must test and approve CVS first. Ask us.
