The Dimplex XLFXDPLUG is the optional power cord kit for Ignite Bold linear electric fireplaces. The Bold is built to be hardwired at 120 or 240 volts; this kit lets it plug into a 120 volt wall receptacle instead. At 120 volts the fireplace draws up to 1500 watts, and Dimplex recommends a dedicated 15 amp circuit.

Questions people ask us
Can I run 240 volts with the plug kit?
No. The XLFXDPLUG is for 120 volt installations only. At 240 volts the Bold puts out 2500 watts and must be hardwired.
Which models does it fit?
All five Ignite Bold sizes: XLF5017-XD, XLF6017-XD, XLF7417-XD, XLF8817-XD, XLF10017-XD.
What circuit do I need?
Dimplex recommends a dedicated, properly fused 15 amp circuit. Plug the cord directly into the receptacle, never an extension cord.
