Do I need a gas line or a chimney?
No. Dimplex electric fireplaces need power only, with no gas line, chimney or vent. Some plug into a standard outlet and others are hardwired by an electrician.
What is Opti-myst?
Opti-myst creates its flame effect from fine water vapor lit from below. Some models are filled by hand, and built-in cassettes can be plumbed in with a plumbing kit.
