The Dimplex Opti-myst plumb kit (Dimplex part CDFIPLUMB-KIT) connects an Opti-myst Pro cassette to a cold water line for a continuous water supply. With it, the CDFI500-PRO or CDFI1000-PRO runs without refilling its water tanks by hand. It taps a 1/2 inch copper cold water line with a piercing valve and feeds the cassette through a ball valve.

What does the plumb kit do?
It keeps the cassette supplied with water from your cold water line, so you do not refill the tanks by hand. Dimplex describes it as giving continuous operation.
What water line do I need?
A 1/2 inch copper cold water line near the cassette, with at least 3/4 inch of clearance from the wall where the piercing valve clamps on.
