The British Fires Ashlett 26 Frame is the steel front for the 26 inch Ashlett electric fireplace insert, made as a flat front frame or a three sided frame. British Fires makes the frames from 3 mm steel with a textured painted finish, and they fix to the insert with studs and nuts. Part numbers FCB0086 (front frame) and FCB0089 (three sided frame).

Choose the frame for your install style.The front frame suits a fully inset, flat wall install. The three sided frame suits an insert open on both ends. Fit it following the Ashlett manual, with the insert switched off and unplugged.

Questions people ask us

Which frame should I choose?

For a flat wall where only the front shows, the front frame (FCB0086). For an insert open on the front and both ends, the three sided frame (FCB0089).

Does it fit the 30" or 36" Ashlett?

No. These frames are sized for the Ashlett 26. British Fires makes separate frames for the 30" and 36", so ask us if you have one of those.

Is there a corner frame?

British Fires also makes a two sided frame for corner installs. It is not listed here, so ask us about it and the lead time.

How does it attach?

The manual has the frame parts fit over studs on the insert and secured with M5 nuts. The blanking plates and side trims used depend on the install style.
