Videl Brasa II Santa Maria Grill
A full height Santa Maria grill with a crank that raises and lowers 838 square inches of grate over a deep wood and charcoal fire, plus a rotisserie rated to 85 pounds. This is the piece people build an evening around rather than a weeknight dinner.
Height is the temperature control. There is no dial on a live fire grill. The elevation crank moves the grate toward the coals for a sear and away from them to finish, which is the whole technique and the reason this style has survived every gas grill ever made.
The rotisserie takes a whole animal. Rated to 85 pounds and driven over the same fire, so a suckling pig, a lamb or a run of chickens all turn over the coals rather than needing a separate rig.
The fire box is deep on purpose. A deep box takes a real load of wood and lets the fire burn down to coals at one end while you are still feeding it at the other, so a long cook does not mean stopping to rebuild.
Read the size before you fall for the picture
This is 55 inches wide, 64 inches deep and stands about 80 inches tall. It needs clearance to anything combustible on every side and a surface that will take the weight and the heat. Measure the spot, then send us the photo and we will tell you whether it works there.

Shipping and returns
A piece this size travels by freight carrier with liftgate service and is delivered curbside. The driver brings it to the end of the driveway rather than around to the patio, so line up a second pair of hands for the last few feet before the truck arrives.
Inspect the shipment thoroughly before you sign the delivery receipt. Signing without noting visible damage counts as accepting it in good condition. If you find concealed damage after the truck has gone, tell us within 48 hours of delivery and keep every piece of the packaging.
Return requests are accepted within 21 days of delivery and need written authorization from us first. Anything already set into an island or connected to gas cannot be returned.
