A smarter cordless cleaner for serious pool maintenance.

The AquaCal AquaClean AC1500 PRO is the higher-coverage cordless robotic cleaner for pool owners who want a capable machine without dealing with cords, hoses, pressure-side plumbing, or an extra booster pump. Its intelligent path planning, four-wheel-drive platform, wall-climbing traction, and adjustable cleaning modes make it a strong fit for routine pool care across a wide range of pool shapes and surface types.

  • Up to 150 minutes of runtime for extended cordless cleaning sessions.
  • Fast recharge time of approximately 2.5 hours between cleaning cycles.
  • Three cleaning modes: Floor Only, Wall Only, or Full Pool Cleaning.
  • Waterline scrubbing capability for a more complete finish around the pool perimeter.
  • Triple-drive motor platform designed for strong debris pickup and consistent mobility.
  • Self-parking feature helps make retrieval easier at the end of the cycle.
  • 180-micron large cartridge filter captures common pool debris for simple cleanout.
  • DuraGrip tread technology helps improve traction while climbing walls.
ATB Fitment Note: The AC1500 PRO is designed for both above-ground and in-ground pools, but robotic cleaners can perform differently depending on wall geometry, ledges, steps, surface texture, and debris conditions. Review your pool layout before ordering if wall climbing or waterline cleaning is your primary goal.

How the AquaClean AC1500 PRO Works

Charge the cleaner, place it in the pool, select the preferred cleaning mode, and allow the robot to navigate the pool independently. The AC1500 PRO uses a rechargeable battery, onboard motors, traction treads, scrubbing brushes, and a cartridge filter to move through the pool and collect debris.

After the cycle, remove the cleaner, empty and rinse the filter cartridge, allow the unit to dry as directed in the owner’s manual, and recharge it for the next use.

Compatibility & Pool Surface Guidance

The AC1500 PRO is intended for common pool surfaces including:

  • Vinyl liner pools
  • Concrete and plaster pools
  • PVC and fiberglass-style surfaces
  • Mosaic and tile-style pool finishes

It is designed to work with many pool shapes. Performance on unusually steep walls, oversized safety ledges, beach entries, complex steps, very irregular freeform pools, or heavy leaf loads can vary. For the most accurate recommendation, contact Aqua Terra Backyard with your pool dimensions, surface type, and a few photos of the pool interior.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the AquaClean AC1500 PRO clean walls and the waterline?

Yes. The AC1500 PRO is designed for floor, wall, and waterline cleaning when used in the appropriate cleaning mode and in a pool layout that supports robotic wall climbing.

Does it need a booster pump, hose, or connection to my pool equipment?

No. This is a self-contained cordless robotic cleaner. It does not use your pool pump, suction line, pressure-side line, or booster pump.

How long does a charge last?

The AC1500 PRO is rated for up to 150 minutes of runtime, though actual runtime can vary based on cleaning mode, debris load, water conditions, and pool shape.

How long does it take to recharge?

Recharge time is approximately 2.5 hours under normal conditions.

Can it be used in an above-ground pool?

Yes. The AC1500 PRO is designed for both above-ground and in-ground pools. Confirm that your pool’s wall and floor configuration are suitable for a robotic cleaner if wall-climbing performance is important to you.

What type of debris does the filter collect?

Its 180-micron cartridge filter is designed for common pool debris including sand, dirt, small leaves, and routine debris. Very fine dust or algae may require additional water treatment and filtration through your pool system.

Important Use & Care Notes
  • Always follow the AquaClean owner’s manual for charging, storage, cleaning, and water-condition requirements.
  • Do not charge the cleaner while wet or with moisture around the charging port.
  • Remove and rinse the filter after each use for best cleaning performance.
  • Do not use the cleaner as a replacement for balancing water chemistry, brushing, or maintaining your main pool filter system.
  • Store the cleaner out of direct weather exposure when not in use.

Not sure whether the AC1500 PRO is right for your pool?

Send Aqua Terra Backyard your pool dimensions, pool type, surface, and photos of any steps, ledges, or unusual wall geometry. We will help you choose the cleaner that makes sense before you order.
