Videl Single Access Door, 18 Inch

An eighteen inch stainless door for the narrow bay, where a double door will not fit and an open hole will not do. It closes off the space beside a grill or under a side burner.

It fills the bay nobody plans for. Islands always end up with a narrow run left over beside an appliance. This is the piece cut for that space rather than a compromise wide enough to look wrong.

Solid stainless, not a clad panel. Every door and drawer in this range is cut to the same face height, so a run of them across the front of an island lines up instead of stepping. That is the difference between an island that looks built and one that looks assembled.

It hides the part of the island nobody should see. Regulators, hoses, spare tanks and the bucket of charcoal all go behind a door and stop being part of the view.

Measure the opening, not the door

The number that matters is the cutout, 15.5 wide by 18.25 high. The door itself is 18 inches across because the frame overlaps the opening on every side. Cut to the opening and the frame does the rest.

Fitment and what is included

Cut the island opening at 15.5 wide by 18.25 high by 2.75 deep. The frame sits proud of the face and covers the cut edge, so the opening does not have to be beautiful, only accurate.

Shipping and returns

This one goes by parcel carrier rather than freight, so it moves quickly and nobody has to be home to meet a truck.

Open the box and check the contents before you install anything. If something arrived damaged, tell us within 48 hours of delivery and keep the packaging so we can make the claim for you.

Return requests are accepted within 21 days of delivery and need written authorization from us first. Unused items still in their original packaging go back most easily.

Common questions
Will a propane tank fit behind it?A standard tank fits behind the wider doors in this range. Tell us which grill and which tank you are running and we will confirm the clearance before you cut anything.
How do I keep the stainless looking new?Rinse it if you are near salt air or a chlorinated pool, then dry it. Most of the staining people blame on cheap stainless is actually salt left to sit on good stainless.
Can it be hinged on the other side?Tell us which way you need it to swing before you order and we will confirm what is available rather than leaving you to find out on install day.
