True Flame Built-In Gas Grill, 25", 32" or 40"

The True Flame Built-In Gas Grill is a #304 stainless steel grill for outdoor kitchen islands, made in three widths: the 25 inch TF25 with 3 burners, the 32 inch TF32 with 4 and the 40 inch TF40 with 5. Each main burner is a 14,000 BTU cast stainless steel burner with flame thrower ignition, and the 32 and 40 inch grills add a 10,000 BTU infrared back burner. A full-length LED bar, lit knobs that show which burners are on, and halogen interior lights help when you cook after dark. Natural gas models are TF25, TF32 and TF40; propane models are TF25L, TF32L and TF40L.

Questions people ask us
Should I order natural gas or propane?
Order the fuel your island is plumbed for. The natural gas models are TF25, TF32 and TF40, and the propane models end in L: TF25L, TF32L and TF40L. True Flame's manual says changing to the other gas needs a conversion kit and a qualified gas technician, so ask us before you plan a conversion.
What size opening do I cut in the island?
True Flame's cutout sheet lists 23 1/4" W x 20 3/4" D x 8 1/4" H for the 25 inch grill, 30 3/4" W for the 32 inch and 38 1/4" W for the 40 inch, all at the same depth and height. Check the current cutout sheet below before you build, since True Flame notes dimensions can change.
Do I need a grill liner?
Yes, if the island is built from combustible material such as wood framing. The manual requires a True Flame insulating jacket or grill liner in a combustible surround. The GL-TF25 liner is the 25 inch version, and True Flame makes liners for the 32 and 40 inch grills as well.
How much clearance does the grill need?
The manual lists at least 4 inches at the sides and rear to a non-combustible wall, 14 inches to a protected combustible wall and 18 inches to a combustible wall, with 5 feet from the countertop to overhead construction. Under combustible overhead construction, a vent hood is required.
Can I put it on a cart instead of in an island?
Yes. True Flame pairs the 32 and 40 inch grills with its Deluxe Freestanding Grill Cart, which adds fold-down side shelves and propane tank storage.
Not sure which size fits your island?
