The Superior WS-S-TMR, catalog number H8863, is a wireless wall-mounted timer for gas fireplaces, with 30 MIN, 60 MIN, 120 MIN and OFF buttons. The wall transmitter sends to a battery powered receiver wired to the fireplace's millivolt gas valve or electronic ignition module. It mounts on a wall plate or an existing plastic electrical box, so no new wiring has to run to the switch.

What does each button do?

Each time button starts the fireplace for 30, 60 or 120 minutes, and OFF shuts it down. A light on the wall unit flashes to confirm the signal was sent.

Do I need to run wires to the wall?

No. The wall unit is wireless and runs on two CR2032 batteries. Only the receiver is wired, to the gas valve or ignition module at the fireplace.

Will it work with my fireplace?

It is made for a millivolt gas valve or an electronic spark ignition module with thermostat terminals. Send us your fireplace model and we will check it.

Can I run the fireplace without the timer?

Yes. Set the receiver's slide switch to ON and the fireplace stays on until you switch it off.
