This is the fireplace hood for the Superior VRE4600 series outdoor linear gas fireplaces, in the 48 inch (F3488) and 72 inch (F3490) sizes. The hood sits above the fireplace opening and protrudes 1 inch from it. The manual calls for five screws to secure it on every model.
