Questions people ask us
Can I use two 45s instead of one 90?
IHP's termination instructions say two 45 degree elbows may replace one 90 degree elbow, using the same rise to run ratios. Check the fireplace manual for your configuration.
Which angle do I need?
Use the 90 degree for a full turn, such as vertical to horizontal, and the 45 degree for offsets. Both are listed here as options.
Will it work with my fireplace?
This elbow is part of IHP's Secure Vent 4-1/2" x 7-1/2" direct vent system. The fireplace manual lists the vent system and components it is tested with, so check yours first, or send us the model and we will look it up.
