Questions people ask us
Which logs go on it?
The MNF manual lists the approved Superior log sets and a burner and log pairing chart, including the Giant Timbers and Mossy Oak sets. Use only a log set the chart approves for the MNF30.
Can it go in a bedroom?
No, not as a vent-free appliance. The manual does not allow it in a bedroom or bathroom unless it is installed as a vented appliance.
Does it work on propane?
This model is natural gas. The propane version of the variable model is MNF30IPV (F2098). Ask us for it.
How big does my firebox need to be?
Firebox minimums depend on the log set. For the 30 inch LMF30 log sets the manual lists 29" high, 15.5" deep, 39" wide at the front and 26.75" at the rear. Send us your firebox size and we will check it.
