The Superior HTFLO-LIN72 (cat. no. F4408) is the HeatFlo kit for the 72 inch Superior DRL4000 and DRL6000 linear direct-vent gas fireplaces. It moves the convective heat from the front of the fireplace to a register higher on the wall, so a TV can sit closer to the fireplace or in a recessed pocket above it. It goes in at the framing stage.

What does the HeatFlo kit do?
It redirects the convective heat from above the glass to a wall register higher up, which allows a TV closer to the fireplace or in a recessed wall pocket.
Which fireplaces is it for?
The 72 inch Superior DRL4000 and DRL6000 models. IHP lists the same kit for the 72 inch Astria Allume and Allume DLX.
How close can the TV be?
IHP gives 12 inches above the opening on a flush wall and 18 inches for a recessed pocket as minimums. Follow the TV maker's heat limits as well.
What is in the kit?
A heat register and trim, four 5 inch flex pipes that stretch to 60 inches, clamps, collars, plenum brackets, screws and instructions.
