The Superior F4380, model 6DVL4.5PVA, is the 6 x 9 inch to 4-1/2 x 7-1/2 inch adaptor for power venting a DRL6000 linear fireplace. IHP requires it with the PVK-PF2-SV4.5 power vent kit on the DRL6060TEN-B, DRL6072TEN and DRL6084TEN, whose collars are built for 6DVL pipe. It attaches to the fireplace collar first, with the probe assembly on top.

Do I need this adaptor?
Only if you are power venting a DRL6060TEN-B, DRL6072TEN or DRL6084TEN with the PVK-PF2-SV4.5 kit. The DRL6048TEN needs no adaptor.
Does it work without the power vent kit?
IHP lists it as part of the power vent setup. For a standard vent run, follow the fireplace manual.
How is it attached?
Directly to the fireplace collar with high temperature sealant on the inner and outer connections, then the probe assembly goes on top.
