The Superior SV4.5VF is the rigid vertical firestop spacer for Secure Vent 4-1/2 inch by 7-1/2 inch direct vent pipe, sold each. It goes where the vent passes through a combustible floor or ceiling and holds the pipe at its listed clearance. IHP catalog number F2567, 1-1-1 spacing.

This is the vertical firestop for floors and ceilings. Walls take the SV4.5HF horizontal firestop.

Does it work with flexible vent?

It is the rigid Secure Vent part. IHP lists a separate flex version for Secure Flex pipe.

Will it work with my fireplace?

This firestop is part of IHP's Secure Vent 4-1/2" x 7-1/2" direct vent system. The fireplace manual lists the vent system and components it is tested with, so check yours first, or send us the model and we will look it up.
