Superior Storm Collar for 12DM Chimney | SC2-1
The Superior SC2-1 is the storm collar for IHP's 12DM wood fireplace chimney. It slides down the chimney until it sits snug on the open edge of the roof flashing, then gets sealed with waterproof caulk. Superior lists it for the WRT4536, WRT4542 and WRT4550. Catalog number F0946.

Seal it with waterproof caulk.The WRT4500 manual has the collar caulked around its perimeter. The termination must be at least 3 feet above the roof penetration and 2 feet above any roof surface within 10 feet. A qualified installer should build the chimney to the fireplace manual and local codes.
